Hasi Khushi Club (2009)

Hasi Khushi Club opens with a bunch of middle-aged people laughing their hearts out in front of a house. All of them including Aniket (Jeet) are members of the Hasi Khushi Club that duals as a laughing club and a drama club. Aniket is also the music teacher and the love-interest of Hiya (Varsha). The film begins with members practicing for a show on the freedom struggle that they plan to stage on the Independence Day. However, things take a turn when on a rainy night, a young woman sneaks inside Aniket's bedroom with her baby. Aniket and his friend find her unconscious and admit her to a hospital. Circumstances force Aniket to pose as the woman's husband and this leads to a whole lot of confusion. The woman however is found to be a victim of harassment for mothering a girl child.
